TONIGHT. As with every Tuesday, Deena of The Sophisticated Boom Boom and Duncan Harvey (Button Up/ Different Strokes) present The Soul Supper Club, playing all their favourite Soul sounds and tangents (R&B, Doo Wop, Early Rock n’ Roll, Funk, etc…) and curate a tasty menu. This weeks is as follows… and fear not, no records were harmed in the making of the meal.
Carnivore.
BBQ’d Brisket with Candied Yams, Smoky Collard Greens, Southern Potato Salad, Deep-fried Dill Pickles, and freshly made Cornbread.
Herbivore. Vegan “Pulled Pork” served on freshly made Cornbread, alongside Candied Yams, Deep-fried Dill Pickles, Smoky Collard Greens, and Southern Potato Salad.
Dessert: Peach Cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
Food served from 7-10pm, music through until midnight at The Art School, 468 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
