D: Lost Sounds were one of Jay Reatard’s many bands from over the years. If you happen to be in Glasgow, I highly recommend checking out the screening of ‘Better Than Something’, tomorrow night, presented by Matchbox Cineclub at The Old Hairdressers, starting at 8:30pm (read: I am really, really excited)
Thereafter stick around and check out the excellent tunes that Russell Elder (Leather Jackets/Monorail) will undoubtedly be spinning downstairs. That man has a collection of 7”s worthy of jealousy; I’m sure his LP collection would garner the same reaction.
